DescrIption
A medium-sized butterfly, I have a wingspan of around 50 mm. The top of my wings are dark brown with white bands, while the underside is more orange with white bands and spots.
Behavior
Diet
At the adult stage, I gather nectar from the flowers of the blackberry bush. My caterpillar, however, eats honeysuckle and fly honeysuckle.
Reproduction
I lay my eggs on the leaves of plants.
Where and when can you find me in the reserve ?
Habitat
I live in wet forests.
When to spot me
You can see me between June and August along footpaths or at the forest edge.
