A medium-sized dragonfly, I measure between 62 and 66 mm on average. I have pretty emerald eyes that contrast with my red-brown body. My name comes from the small yellow triangular mark on my second abdominal segment.

Reproduction

I lay my eggs on aquatic plants that hatch about six weeks later. My larvae live hidden in plants in shallow water for one to three years.
